Julian Watanabe is what most would call a “burnout”, playboy, or even a failure. Born to a wealthy and successful family, the expectations set for him were high. After a short-lived rock band in high school and barely graduating college with a bachelor's degree in music, Julian later mastered his skills in multiple different instruments. His specialty, however, was the way he worked with a guitar.

Julian’s quick ability to come up with and play a tune and almost flawless performance would mesmerize everyone who got the chance to work with him. Innocent ladies swooned over his skills and rough looks, despite his womanizing demeanor, and artists in every part of the northeast would come to the small town of Macabay just to get the perfect solos, rhythms, or background tracks for their songs. Sick and tired of being light years away from the spotlight, Julian excitedly announced that he would no longer work with other artists, especially as a background or temporary guitarist. He dedicated his time to his own projects, working with a fiery goth bassist called Stevie Batz. With his talent and dedication, getting fame was a cakewalk. And it would be, if his stubbornness, immaturity, and short temper hadn’t gotten in the way. The fights started over simple criticism, distracted flirting, messy hookups, and lack of hard work didn’t get him anywhere. But, finding peace in the underground star life, he seemed to be fine with that. ...less
